Greater Boston Properties is in its 30th year of professionally managing apartment buildings of all sizes in the greater Boston area. Becky Long, Manager of Investment Services, oversees our investment portfolio with a personal touch making each landlord and each tenant feel important.

Landlord Services

At Greater Boston Properties we professionally work with all of our landlords and investors to ensure maximum potential from every unit and building we manage. Becky Long knows each of our investors and is available everyday to answer questions and concerns regarding your property. From the time we begin managing your investment we cater to all of your needs and maintain and enhance property value by working with you to understand market trends and be proactive about anticipated changes. We screen all applicants for our landlords and work within parameters set by you for each site. Our staff is well oriented with state and local laws to properly guide you through the rental process. Becky Long personally meets with every tenant to sign and review the lease and make certain that the rules and regulations for each property are understood before any tenant is allowed to move in. With the student population in the city of Boston we are very clear that when they rent from Greater Boston Properties that they are renting someone’s investment. In all of our buildings whether they are an investment property or a single unit within a condominium association, we clearly and strongly advise the tenants to respect the unit, to respect the common areas and to also know that some residents actually own their units as in a condominium association. We follow up with our investors and keep an open line of communication with reports and sound investment advice.

Tenant Services

At Greater Boston Properties we screen all the applicants using the highest standards and offering equal opportunity to all of our tenants. When the tenant signs the lease Becky Long personally reviews each section to be sure that the tenant comprehends their responsibility under the lease in full. We are available during regular business hours for day-to-day concerns and we answer the phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure that emergencies are dealt with in a timely manner.

Landlord/Tenant Relations

We strive to offer the best possible communications between our landlords and tenants. Our maintenance department handles day-to-day issues in the units to ensure that all of the tenants needs are met daily. Our goal is to be sure that our tenants and landlords feel important every day.
